At the seminar Martha learned, that she can generate a high added value by focusing all her resources on one project.

As a consequence she quit her part-time job at the hospital and invested 100% of her resources into the development of her own doctor’s office. Thanks to the credit she received she nearly doubled her turnover despite the economic crisis and could create two new job openings.

Situation before programm start

Martha wirkt seit 2003 als Ärztin in einem ärmeren und oft auch von Kriminalität geprägten Stadtteil von Managua. Neben einer Apotheke betreibt sie ein privates Gesundheitszentrum mit Untersuchungen und Behandlungen ausgerichtet auf Familien.
